Canton, Ohio, is home base to Two Amused Bouches. Contrary to stereotype, we're more than the Pro Football Hall of Fame (even though we ARE pretty proud to have it here)! Not only will you find out more about Collyn and Lisa, but you'll also get to know all of our day-to-day local faves - from date-night dinners and drinks to takeout and thrifting. A few other outlying towns and cities you'll find in this spot include New Phila, Dover, East Canton, Minerva, etc. We wouldn't forget about those guys.

We admittedly don’t venture near enough to Tuscarawas County to eat and drink. While E and I are often down that way to visit friends and family, the area doesn’t surface as a go-to, and it should. Sublime Smoke, Park Street Pizza, Bread Head and Lockport Brewery are all just 15-20 minutes down 77 south and really great places to patron.… Read More

As Lisa mentioned in her latest post, we’ve been so preoccupied with LIFE and all its [good!] changes that our favorite pastime of eating delicious local food has taken a backseat. We know, we know, it seems impossible.
But things have mostly settled down, and we’re about to fix our eating-out problem [or lack thereof] by hitting up almost two dozen eateries in one fell swoop!… Read More

Ahhh, the venues. Some were easy to find, others… quite the opposite. As I recapped in the first wedding post, we had a number of issues arise as we looked for venues. We tried looking through TheKnot.com, a couple of local bridal magazines and even word of mouth without much luck.… Read More

Now that we’ve covered the wedding jeweler, bridal gown shop and florist in the last post, on to the tastier things. The catering companies we used worked well with our schedules (after work hours and weekends) and had enough material for us that we could look over and customize on our own time.… Read More

Oh, hey! Remember me? I’ve been on quite the hiatus over the past few months and for good reason(s). Between getting engaged, planning the wedding, finding out we’re EXPECTING (woohoo!) and big changes at work… we’ve been kind of busy over here in the Dalpiaz household.… Read More

Three-plus years ago, when the Cleveland Flea burst on the scene, Lisa and I were instantly hooked by its fresh concept. The combo of food trucks, local art, vintage finds, artisan goods, and live music in an open-air venue felt like a pretty perfect way to spend a Saturday.… Read More

Note from Lisa and Collyn: Thank you to our foodie friend Leslie Hennessey (and her hubs Dustin) of Canton for sharing their fabulous 36-hour getaway to Wooster, Ohio with us. Yes, THAT Wooster. Spoiler alert: they loved it! Read on…
I have to be honest, when my husband surprised me with a birthday weekend in Wooster, I thought he had lost his touch in the gift department.… Read More

Yesterday, as I enjoyed the piazza at Gervasi for the first time this season – soaking in a sunny June afternoon, good company, and a glass of white wine {yay!} – I was reminded that the Gervasi family of properties has another outdoor space that’s equally lovely…and we’ve yet to talk about it.… Read More

Sampling fine wines and craft beers, enjoying beautiful Spring weather {fingers crossed; this is Ohio}, and supporting great community organizations in the process? Farm to table, it’s huge. In big cities, in Cleveland, and even right here in Canton. Savor is a new(er) restaurant that has opened right off of Frank and Fulton. So far, it’s proven to be a fun spot for a night cap, a go-to place for a ladies’ lunch and a relaxing date night destination.
