Twigs and Twine + Paper Allure: Luxe Flowers and Paper Goods in Canton

Twigs and Twine + Paper Allure: Luxe Flowers and Paper Goods in Canton

We talk a lot about food on the blog. {You may have noticed.} But we like other things, too! Pretty things, like fresh-cut flowers.

Stunning color combo

I put them in the same category as a spa pedicure, new {totally unnecessary} throw pillow, or have-to-have accessory from your favorite boutique: one of life’s little but joyous luxuries.

But not just any bunch of flowers, mind you. None of those ubiquitous carnation and angel’s breath combos from your grocer’s floral department; there’s nothing luxurious about $4.99 of ugly. I’m talking about the good stuff – roses mixed unexpectedly with succulents; wildflowers nestled among lemons and oranges. More specifically, I’m talking about the array of blooms at Twigs & Twine in Jackson Township.

Blooms galore

Twigs & Twine’s artful arrangements are guaranteed stunners for your wedding, baby shower, prom, anniversary, gala, birthday, Mother’s Day, or just-because day.  You surely have one of those coming up in the next year. They bring a level of floral artistry to Canton that’s equally suited for cities five times our size, which was exciting to discover. To give you a sense of of the quality, you can “add on” one of their arrangements when you stay overnight at the Villa Suites at Gervasi Vineyard. And if you’ve been to Gervasi, you know it’s top-of-the-line everything.

Truth be told, I didn’t quite get all that was happening inside this little gem of a spot until I discovered their Instagram account. I might be a little late to the local floral scene, but in my defense, I’ve been married for a number of years, and the ladies in my life most likely to receive flowers {hi mom and grandmother!} live out of state, so I’m seldom in the local market for floral arrangements. However, I know someone who is…or should be {hi hon!}, and I’m hoping he reads this post.

Gorgeous florals and gifts

Twigs & Twine features plenty of gorgeous florals to be sure, but also non-floral treasures like handmade jewelry, notes, cards, candles, soaps, and small decor items. I picked up a long gold pendant necklace, and as I was checking out, the gal helping me said, “Oh, I made that! It’s one of my favorites.” Love it. The soaps and candles all appeared to be “small batch” and made in divine scents — perfect for when you need a unique but not-too-expensive gift. The leather cuff bracelets with interchangeable metal messages make an on-trend gift that shows you put thought into it.

Small but Mighty! Handmade goods.

I'm a sucker for a wall of white decor accents

If you want to grab a few stems to cheer up your table, you can do that, too. You don’t have to buy an arrangement. Their sister business, Paper Allure, shares the same brick-and-mortar space and is equally gorg. So naturally, there are paper goods for sale throughout the store. They call themselves a couture invitation designer, and it’s easy to see why they serve bridal and other clients from coast-to-coast. Lots of unique fonts and sizes, and dimensional paper goods using ribbon and embellishments. I’d absolutely love to have them design our family Christmas cards.

You’ll definitely want to check out Twigs & Twine / Paper Allure for your next occasion. Or non-occasion. Treat yourself!
